An Post accused of breaching customer rights

The Consumers Association of Ireland has accused An Post of breaching customer rights by failing to deliver Christmas mail on time.

The company has admitted that more than 1.5 million cards, letters and packages posted before Christmas were only delivered this week because of problems with new sorting equipment.
