Cork woman in critical condition in London
Medics at King's College Hospital in London are working to stabilise the condition of Sylvia O'Leary, the Cork mother-of-two who has been flown to England for a life saving liver transplant operation.
A spokesperson for the Hospital said that Mrs O'Leary's condition is still critical and that surgeons could not make plans for the transplant surgery until such a time as she was stabilised.
Today marks Sylvia's 13th wedding anniversary to her husband Des who remains by her side in London.
The couple's two children, aged 13 and 6, are at home in Cork.
