Man arrested on assault charges

A man in his 30's was arrested last night in the Tallaght area in connection with the assault of another man on Cromwellsfort Road on Sunday 22nd December.

A man in his 30's was arrested last night in the Tallaght area in connection with the assault of another man on Cromwellsfort Road on Sunday 22nd December.

The man is being detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.

He is being questioned in Crumlin Garda Station. The victim is still in St James's Hospital.
