Peter Whelan, of Ashgrove in Rochestown earlier pleaded guilty at the Central Criminal Court today to the murder of Nicola Sweeney (aged 20) and to the attempted murder of Sinead O’Leary at Underwood House, Rochestown, Cork on April 27, 2002.
