Sinn Fein MLA may testify in army 'abuse' case
A Sinn Fein Assembly member could be called to testify for a Catholic ex-soldier who allegedly tried to kill himself after becoming the victim of a vicious sectarian campaign, it was revealed tonight.
Even though Dr Dara O’Hagan has denied handing a party poster to a Royal Irish Regiment sergeant during the 1998 General Election, lawyers acting for former Private Patrick Murphy are considering asking her to appear at a fair employment tribunal in Belfast.
