Labour seeks re-instatement of house grant

The Labour Party has tabled a Dail motion calling on the Government to overturn its decision to abolish the first-time home buyer's grant.

Party spokesman Eamon Gilmore said the scrapping of the grant was an attack on a vulnerable sector of society.
