A man has been killed in a road traffic accident in Co Kildare.

A man has been killed in a road traffic accident in Co Kildare.

The 42-year-old was struck by a car at Maddenstown, near the Curragh.

His remains were removed to Naas General Hospital.

Gardai from Newbridge are investigating the incident.
