The Irish Pharmaceutical Union has accused Health Minister Micheal Martin of targeting the weakest members of society by cracking down on what he believes are invalid claims under the drug refund scheme.

The Irish Pharmaceutical Union has accused Health Minister Micheal Martin of targeting the weakest members of society by cracking down on what he believes are invalid claims under the drug refund scheme.

Mr Martin has said he plans to make savings by eradicting these claims, but the IPU said many of them are actually valid claims that have been messed up by health service administrators.
