Fishermen boosted by extension of prawn quotas

Irish fishermen have been given a life-line to once again catch prawns after member states of the EU agreed to swap fish quotas among themselves.

Ireland, as a result, was able to secure a deal with Britain, which is not going to use-up it's full prawn quota in 2002.
