Court hears husband threatened wife in front of children

A Nigerian national who allegedly raped his wife several times and threatened to kill her in the presence of two young children has gone on trial at the Central Criminal Court.

The jury heard he also threatened he was going to rape his wife's young daughter and force her to have sex with their infant son while he attacked his wife with a knife and cut her badly.
