Taoiseach seeks legal clarification on fishing cuts

The Taoiseach has said he is in contact with the European Commission on proposed fish cuts. Bertie Ahern said he was seeking legal clarification on the controversial changes to quotas.

The move comes as French fishermen continue to block three major ports in protest at the EU quotas on catches.
