Stolen beer smuggled across border

A €100,000 consignment of beer stolen in east Belfast on Saturday night is believed to have been smuggled into the Republic.

The beer was in two of four trailers stolen from a yard after a security guard was confronted by a man posing as a plain-clothes detective.
