The Irish anti-war movement is accusing the Government of abusing civil liberties and cracking down on opposition to the war.

Protestors in Dublin are planning to make symbolic actions outside the US embassy within the hour.

Spokesperson for the anti-war group Richard Boyd Barrett says the Government must recognise Irish people's opposition to strikes on Iraq.
