Minister bids to speed up school repair works

Education Minister Noel Dempsey has revealed plans to introduce more public private partnership (PPP) schemes in a bid to speed up repair works at the country's national schools.

Earlier this week it was announced that building work at almost 400 schools this week has been put on hold because of Government spending cutbacks.
