Lift operators dispute worsens

A dispute by lift operators, which is seriously effecting residents of Dublin's Ballymun flats, has worsened.

The employers, Pickering Lifts Ltd, has served legal proceedings on the TEEU Union amid claims it is supporting the unlawful picketing of it's sites.

The dispute arose from the dismissal of an employee in October.

The row has left many of the towers in the South Dublin flats without a working lift.
