A Co Roscommon man who has been in a Greek jail for the past five months was today acquitted and is due for release this afternoon.

Twenty three-year-old Eamon Donlon from Cloonfad, was jailed when the truck he was driving was found to contain 176,000 packets of cigarettes concealed amongst a load of olive oil.
