Moriarty tribunal begins new phase of inquiry

The Moriarty tribunal has begun hearing a lengthy opening statement as a new phase of the inquiry gets underway.

This stage of the tribunal is investigating the circumstances by which the second mobile phone licence was granted to Esat Digifone.
