Gardaí name Mayo accident victim

Gardaí have named the pedestrian killed in a road accident last night in County Mayo.

He was 49-year-old Joe Feeney, from Liscottle in Co Mayo.

The man was walking along the Castlebar road, about three miles from Swinford, when he was struck by a four wheel drive vehicle at about 8.30pm yesterday evening.
