CSO reports fall in new car registrations

The number of new cars registered in the first 10 months of this year fell by 7% compared to the same period last year, according to figures released by the Central Statistics Office today.

The CSO figures also highlighted an 18% decrease in the number of imported second-hand cars registered during the 10-month period.
