Strike will ground flights between Dublin and Paris

An air-traffic controllers' strike in France will come into effect this evening.

Brendan Moran of the Irish Travel Agents Association (ITAA) has said that it'll lead to more chaos, grounding flights to and from France.

He said: "It's very much regretted that for what I can only describe as the umpteenth time this year in various countries, including our own, the travelling public have once again been held to ransom in these regards.

"There is a 24-hour air traffic controller strike and I can confirm for you now that all direct flights to Paris tomorrow will in fact be cancelled."
