SF rejects focus on IRA disbandment
Sinn Fein has rejected suggestions that everything will be fine in the North if the IRA disbands.
Party spokesman Arthur Morgan told the British-Irish inter-parliamentary meeting in Manchester today that the IRA had already moved on numerous occasions to facilitate positive momentum.
Mr Morgan said anyone who thinks IRA disbandment will help the process should "get real".
"The IRA have already, on a number of occasions, made significant moves that facilitated momentum into the process," he said.
"They are the people who have continually said they are no threat to this process."
