FG: Investigate €5,000 cigar and drinks bill
The Government must investigate claims that a Minister received €5,000 worth of cigars and spirits, still unpaid for, from Aer Rianta in the 90s.
Fine Gael's spokesperson for Transport Denis Naughten wants a full investigation over whether backhanders were part of the deal.
Reports today indicate that a government Minister in the 90s has still not settled invoices for alcohol and tobacco with Aer Rianta.
It is not known who the Minister was or why the bill has not been paid.
Deputy Naughten insists that the public want answers, particularly if they footed such a bill.
