Ian Horgan, a Cork youth jailed for life in June today received an additional ten-year prison sentence for the rape of the 22 year-old beautician he strangled to death in 2000.

Ian Horgan, a Cork youth jailed for life in June today received an additional ten-year prison sentence for the rape of the 22 year-old beautician he strangled to death in 2000.

In June a majority jury verdict found Horgan, of Inishmore Square, Ballincollig, Co. Cork guilty of the rape and murder of Ms Rachel Kiely at the Regional Park, Ballincollig, Co Cork on October 26, 2000.
