Irish trial finds drug to help prevent heart attacks

A clinical trial conducted in Ireland has found that Pravastin, a cholesterol-reducing drug, can help prevent heart attacks.

The study - one of the biggest of its kind ever carried out in Ireland - was conducted at University College Cork over the past five years.
