It has emerged that the man who died in a road accident in Donegal suffered a heart attack at the wheel.

The single vehicle accident happened at Ballybofey on the Donegal road just after 8am this morning.

The victim who was in his 60s has not been named yet officially.

Meanwhile Gardai have named the person killed in a road accident in Cork yesterday.

Pedestrian, 88-year-old Susan Pomeroy died after being knocked down in Bishopstown.
