The body of a man has been recovered from the River Slaney in Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford.

The body of a man has been recovered from the River Slaney in Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford.

The man's name has not yet been released.

The Slaney Search team has appealed for the public's help in the continuing search for a second man. Both men fell into the water in Enniscorthy, the first on Monday night and the second from a bank at 1.30am this morning.

A separate river search of the Boyne River is also underway after a man was seen falling into the River early this morning.

The Boyne Fisherman's Rescue and Drogheda Gardam received a call at half past three this morning when a young man, believed to be 18, fell into the River at the Haymarket Bridge.
