Trimble launches stinging attack on Republic

Ulster Unionist Party leader David Trimble has launched a stinging attack on the Republic of Ireland, saying the country is held together by religion and anti-British sentiment.

The comments were made to the Chicago-Sun Times newspaper on Thursday.
