Body washed ashore in Dublin

The body of a man in his forties has been found washed up on a beach on the north side of Dublin.

His body was discovered near the Bull Wall earlier today.

Gardai in Raheny are now investigating the case after a golfer in the area made the discovery after 8am today and alerted them.

The body has been taken to Beaumont Hospital and a post mortem is expected to be carried out.
