SIPTU has called on employers to co-operate with the establishment of a Worker's Charter to secure best practice in the areas of pay, pensions, training and working conditions.

Speaking at the TEEU Biennial Conference in Galway today, SIPTU presidents Des Geraghty told delegates that regardless of whether a new National Pay Agreement is reached, unions will be focusing on the improvement of the workplace in terms of gender equality and fairness.
