Fishermen in Cork have blockaded the harbour at Castletownbere to display their anger at proposals to implement an open fishing policy in the Irish Box.

The blockade action is designed to prevent the normal contingent of Spanish boats from entering Castletownbere over the coming weekend. A similar demonstration is taking place in Dingle Co Kerry.
