Govt abandons Citizen Traveller Campaign

The Government has decided to shut down the Citizen Traveller Campaign following a "value-for-money" review of its work.

Justice Minister Michael McDowell decided that the campaign should be abandoned after the review found that it had failed to heal the divide between Traveller and settled communities.
