Cork accident victim named

The man who was killed in a traffic accident in Cork yesterday has been named.

He was 27-year-old Derek Egan of Mountview, Rosegreen in Cashel, Co. Tipperary.

The collision between a car and a truck happened at 3.20pm yesterday afternoon on the main Dublin to Cork road.

The dead man was the driver of the car.
