High Court to decide on Redmond application

The High Court is due to give judgement today on an application by the former Dublin Assistant County Manager, George Redmond.

Mr Redmond has applied to stop his trial on corruption charges going ahead in the Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.

He said that it is impossible for him to receive a fair trial at this time because of 'adverse media coverage' of his affairs.
