Limerick man dies from head injuries

A Co Limerick man, who suffered serious head injuries last week, has died.

A Co Limerick man, who suffered serious head injuries last week, has died.

Anthony Noonan, 34, from Kilfinane, was found on a roadside near Ardpatrick in East Limerick early last Friday.

The roadway remains cordoned off and a car in which the victim was travelling is being forensically examined.

The death is being treated as suspicious and gardai are awaiting the results of a post mortem, which is due to be carried out later.
