Two men injured in Dublin stabbings

Two men are recovering in hospital this morning after being stabbed in separate incidents in the Ballyfermot area of Dublin last night.

One man received facial injuries in the first incident in Le Fanu Park just after 1am, while the second man was stabbed in nearby Cherry Orchard around an hour later.

Both men are receiving treatment, but their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Gardai are investigating the possibility that the two incidents might be linked.
