Young man killed in two-car collision

A man in his 20s has been killed and two other people remain in a critical condition in hospital after a two-car collision in Limerick earlier today.

The accident occurred at 3pm on the Knocklong road to Kilmallock road.

Four other people were injured in the crash and emergency services removed one car off the roof of another after the crash.

All of the victims of the collision have been taken to Limerick regional hospital.
