Adams due to respond to Blair

The Sinn Fein President is due to give a speech within the next hour in which he will give his considered response to the British government's demand for the IRA to disband.

Several party spokesmen, and the IRA, have expressed anger at the demand and have blamed the Ulster Unionists for the crisis in the peace process.
