Le Cheile links young people together through art
The Le Cheile, Artists in Ireland Against Racism is organising an art project for young people centered on the theme of "World Art Linking Us Together".
The project consists of four days of art based workshops for youth, with artists from Africa, the Caribbean and Ireland. The workshops will be linked in with presentations of images from around the world, using a tailor made CD ROM, which was designed by Adis Iroh, one of the artists involved in the project.
The CD produced for the four days will be an exploration of art forms from Africa, Asia, South America and Europe and a realisation of our common elements as human beings.
The project runs from October 29 to November 1 2002 at the OutHouse, 105 Capel Street, Dublin 2.
