Foiled raiders still in custody

Three men remain in garda custody this morning following a botched armed raid in west Dublin yesterday afternoon.

The three culprits, one armed with a handgun, failed in their attempt to rob a security van at Rosemount Business Park in Blanchardstown.

They were arrested a short time later in Finglas and a firearm and stolen car were recovered.

The three are being held under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act.
