Sinn Fein's Martin McGuinness has suggested that IRA disbandment will only happen as part of a process that will also require action from the British government and unionist politicians and paramilitaries.

Speaking at a press conference, Mr McGuinness said if the Good Friday Agreement was implemented in full, it would put huge pressure on all armed groups to disappear for good.
