Gardai brought two men to Cork District Court today on charges of importing cannabis resin with a street value of €125,000 into Ireland.

Gardai brought two men to Cork District Court today on charges of importing cannabis resin with a street value of €125,000 into Ireland.

Detective Inspector Tom Myers said it was alleged that the two men travelled from Holyhead to Dun Laoghaire ferry port on Sunday, and then drove down to Cork. They stayed at the Fern Hill Golf Club Hotel, Carrigaline, Co Cork where they were arrested on Monday.
