McCreevy urged not to reduce disabilities funding

The Namhi pressure group has urged Finance Minister Charlie McCreevy not to reduce funding for people with learning disabilities in his budget later this year.

Spokesperson Deirdre Carroll said any reduction in funding would lead to children being left in psychiatric hospitals.
