An Post facing action after memo

An Post is facing possible action under the Equal Status Act after sending a memo to counter staff warning about non-nationals opening fraudulent accounts.

The internal memo, which was sent to 800 workers, referred to “accounts being opened with fraudulent intent by non-nationals who are black and generally male”.
