Northern Ireland crisis deepens

The Northern executive will begin to crumble today when the two DUP ministers' resignations take effect from mid-day.

The resignation of the two DUP ministers, Nigel Dodds and Peter Robinson, takes effect from mid-day - by Monday night devolution will be suspended with new British ministers at Stormont taking over the ten departments.
