Blair, Adams set for showdown
Northern Ireland’s Assembly was today heading towards suspension after crisis talks between the Irish and British governments.
With Tony Blair set for a showdown meeting with Sinn Féin president Gerry Adams over an alleged IRA spy ring, it is feared there could be no alternative but to put the Stormont administration on hold.
