Greens: Yes side 'getting desperate'

The 'Yes' campaigners in the Nice referendum are now getting desperate, according to the Green Party.

Criticising recent comments by those in the European Commission and the Minister for Transport, TD John Gormley says the threats and warnings show that the yes side have lost the argument on Nice.

He says the yes side know that when the public are fully aware of all the implications of the Nice Treaty, they will vote no.

Mr Gormley claims the Yes side are now diverting attention away from the actual Treaty by scaremongering the public.
