Kenny calls for Dail debate on Flood

The Fine Gael leader is stepping up his demands for a full debate on the Flood report in the Dail.

The call comes after a poll today which says that 76% of people believe that the Taoiseach misled the Dail over the appointment of Ray Burke as a Minister.

Enda Kenny says its essential that Bertie Ahern restores confidence.

Mr Kenny says that the leader of the country must come to the Dail and clear the matter once and for all.

Both Fine Gael and the Labour party have been calling for a debate on the Flood report ever since its release.

However, the Fianna-Fail led government have only conceded two days of questions to be answered in the Dail.
