NI flight makes emergency landing

A flight from Belfast to London was forced to make an emergency landing after developing technical difficulties.

The British Midland 737 jet was en route from Belfast City Airport to London Heathrow with more than 200 passengers on board when the problem arose.

The plane turned back and landed safely at Belfast International Airport at Aldergrove.
