Man shot dead in Belfast

A man was shot dead last night in Belfast, in what’s believed to be a paramilitary attack.

The man, in his late 30’s, was gunned down in the quiet residential area of Ravenhill at 11.40pm, by a lone gunman.

Local residents heard a loud bang and found the man lying in the street. He died a short time later at the scene.

There are fears the shooting may be part of an ongoing loyalist feud in the North.
