Ahern's speech just backround music, say No campaigners

The no campaigners 'equal in Europe' are slamming the Taoiseach's inaugural address.

The self proclaimed pro-Europe organisation insisted that Mr Ahern's speech was only background music and that it did not actually deal with the real issues of the referendum.

Spokesperson Patrick Kenny said that none of the issues raised by the Taoiseach will negatively affect Ireland if a 'no' vote is returned by the public in just under three weeks.
